OHANA SRI LANKA - Association loi 1901, créée le 3 janvier 2005
L’objet social de l’association est :
- de venir en aide aux victimes sri lankaises du Tsunami du 26/12/2004, en complément de l'aide apportée par le gouvernement Sri Lankais ou d’autres organismes locaux ou internationaux ;
- d'identifier localement les besoins matériels des personnes et/ou familles démunies, notamment, dans un premier temps, aux abords de Batticaloa ;
- de recueillir des fonds et de les transférer sur place, pour permettre l'achat, in situ, des matériels nécessaires à l'aide d'urgence ;
- d'identifier ensuite les besoins en matériels de reconstruction des habitations ou des infrastructures détruites permettant aux sinistrés de retrouver une activité normale ;
- soutenir toute démarche proposée par l'équipe locale qui permettrait aux victimes, de manière directe et efficace, un retour à une vie normale.

Ivry GITLIS & L. Subramaniam
Ivry Gitlis - Israeli violinist who lives in France. He has performed with the world's top orchestras. L.Subramaniam is an Indian violinist, composer and conductor, trained in the classical Carnatic music. He lived in Jaffna during his younger years, taking up music studies before the age of five.
